The subject is jointly sponsored by the Department of Economics and the Nutrition and Consumer Education Department of the Institute of Environmental Sciences.

In the first two semesters, the foundations of economics and business administration are laid. In the further course of the study, contents from the fields of business administration, economic theory and policy as well as consumer education build on this.
